Pre-application and Design and Access
Images that let an officer, a design review panel or a committee see a scheme before it is built, from the first pre-application meeting to the Design and Access Statement.
At pre-application
Early meetings decide a lot. A few clear views of the massing in its real setting help an officer respond to the scheme itself, not just the drawings. We work from early models and update the views as the design develops.
In the Design and Access Statement
The statement has to explain the design and show how it fits its context. We make the views that carry that argument: the street, the key approaches, materials and the ground floor, set into photographs of the site where it matters.
Accurate where it needs to be
Not every image needs to be a verified view. Where a view will be relied on to judge height or setting, we build it on survey data so it can be checked, and it can become a full verified view later without starting again.
Case study
Angel SquareA deep retrofit above Angel Station for AHMM and Tishman Speyer. The images carried the Design and Access Statement and the consultation, and the building is now complete and award-winning.Read the case study →
